Nigella Lawson enters the tent as a new judge and all it takes is her saying “sumptuous” to crack Noel Fielding: “I think I might be pregnant.” Chocolate stout cake is the first task for the eager batch of bakers – with one of them daring to put a twist on Nigella’s own recipe. They then need to recreate a coffee and walnut cake from a picture, before doing their self-portrait cake showstoppers. You will gasp in horror at least twice. Hollie Richardson

In its inherent ephemerality, sand-sculpting requires technical mastery, incredible patience and a philosophical acceptance of entropy. While Rachel and Athena race against the tide in this final episode, Yusuf and Johannes’s ambitious “journey through life” concept seems doomed even before the North Sea walks off with it. The last visit, for now, to the NHS trauma team who always seem to tackle cases designed to show off their excellent organisational skills. “Why take the moral high ground when you could have three grand?” This quote sums up this adventure challenge hosted by Rob Beckett in which 12 strangers slog through the Malaysian rainforest, dreaming of a share of £300k but waylaid by temptations ranging from clean clothes to fast food.
